Just Married! Katie + Reegan, June 16, 2012 | Backyard family wedding in Clarkesville Georgia

Oh my goodness–I’ve been really excited to share these photos with the world! It took me about 10 years to edit them (okay, maybe a little over a month) but I am so happy to finally be showing you Katie and Reegan’s wedding day. It was an unforgettable day which so, so much love and hard work went into. The event was held at a family home in the back yard where they spared no extra thought for how to create the perfect fairy tale setting. Woodsy charm and handmade touches decorated every last element of the day, but my favorite part? The people. Katie is a special friend of mine. I photographed her senior pictures, her maternity photos, her engagement photos, and it only seemed fitting that I had to be with her on the big day, too! I just love this sweet little family… especially little baby Charlie. He’s kind of irresistible! Reegan and Katie are so amazing together, and take such good care of their little Charlie bear. There is so much love between these three that is rare in the world today. Without any further ado, please enjoy the brief preview below. And congrats to my friends, the Emslies, who are so special and loved!

Sheesh. She’s so beautiful!

Silly pictures are a must on any wedding day!

The guys were very ready to be silly–I didn’t even have to request it!

Charlie and his daddy! Such a sweet duo.

Time for the big reveal… Reegan and Katie seeing each other for the first time that day. Oh goodness it was the sweetest moment ever!

Classic.

Time for the ceremony! And what a beautiful setting the family created for it.

A special ceremony all three of the Emslies took part in.

Below you’ll see family pictures, which I usually don’t post on the blog… but this was such a fun and hilarious bunch I couldn’t resist!

This picture needs to be printed out large and hung on the wall!!! It’s just too much!

The new little family. Precious.

Daddy daughter dance… Tim played and sang for Katie, then came and danced with her afterwards.
