My beautiful friend Megan who I enjoy Bible study and youth group with asked me to do her prom pictures. This was a first for me and I was really excited to do them for her! For Lauren and Ryan’s engagement, we wanted the best of both worlds–some really pretty late afternoon light, and dusk. These lovebirds wanted some really different photos, so we decided to do some night pictures–a fun challenge for me, and now I want to do night pictures more often! Anyway, my rambling aside, Lauren and Ryan are such a sweet couple! They are going to be married in just a few months in a beautiful, unique wedding which I can’t wait to photograph. They are so cute with each other, and I love their unique part-vintage part-modern style. They were soo patient with me as I worked with all my equipment to get the light how I wanted it. Ah, the life of a married couple–picnics, cupcakes, balloons–Jen and Adam are so cute together! We came up with some really sweet ideas for their shoot, and even though the sun was playing hard to get, I think we got some really beautiful photos. I think you’ll all agree with me… Jen is GORGEOUS! Adam really adores her. He calls her “love” and you can tell by the way that he dotes on her that he loves her completely! Let me start by saying that it was SO hard to pick just a few from this amazing session to post online. Melissa and Ben are a couple after my own heart! They have a whimsical, ethereal, simple and sweet style and I am so lucky to be their wedding photographer. Can you believe how cute and in love this couple is? Ben is this adorable teddy bear of a guy, and Melissa is completely GORGEOUS. The smiles and laughter were endless! We got to shoot these photos on some amazing private property. That, combined with some really cool props, created some really amazing photographs. Hope everyone loves them!
