For Kiss The Bride. This is a unique wedding. “Why’s that?” you may ask. “Was it the flowers? The decorations? The style of the wedding?” Well, the most unique thing about this wedding was that Samantha and Greg got married in the pouring rain! They had no plan “B” and just went with it as the rain started pouring down in the middle of their ceremony. Their smiles and laughter as the rain drenched everyone was so crazy cool! I never thought I’d get to do a rain wedding! Even though it was so incredible, I was extremely glad we did the “first look” and got all the important shots (the lovebirds together, the bridal party, etc) done before everyone’s makeup and hair got a little messed up. But despite the downpour, it was about 30 minutes and everyone was dried off and in good spirits. What a night! Without more ado, here are pictures of the beautiful Samantha, her handsome man Greg, and their amazing love-filled day.
EDIT: I forgot one of the most important parts! I would NEVER stand out in the rain taking photos with my poor camera getting drenched/ruined! The way I got these photos? I always have umbrellas in my car because I’m a worrywart and in-the-event-of-a-disaster kind of person. Grabbed a wedding guest by the name of Patrick (oh noble hero of mine!) and he stood with me for the whole wedding, keeping me and the camera dry! It was definitely challenging but also so incredibly beautiful/romantic. Yay! Photogs, my advice is always bring umbrellas. PERIOD! Also, huge kudos and shoutout to Jade of Lovelee Affairs for being such an amazing coordinator and helping everyone out with the unexpected rainshowers!
